Remembering 2011: Tried hitchhiking for charity. Whilst the experience was okay, I swore never to do it after a night out. It involved sitting in the dodgiest looking cars with the nicest people, non-stop travelling in the dead of the night, getting stuck on a major motor-way, stranded in a gas kiosk in the middle of the forests, and not getting a ride to cross the Celtic Sea/Channel into Spain/France.
Remembering 2011: And then to Gelupo for gelato and granita, before I walked them to the theatre.

Remembering 2011: When Dave and Boon visited London en route to Paris over the summer, we trooped to Bocca di Lupo off Picadilly and had their tasting menu. I recall a super tasty crabmeat tagliatelle and celeriac salad and a super nasty spinach-cheese balls dish.
